Pretty pumped to see this new line. Don’t be fooled by VIZIO’s low prices. My V047 can go head to head with any of my buddies hdtv’s…for a lot less.
I just bought the Vizio 42 XVT this past monday. After months and months of researching televisions I settled on this one. When I went to Costco I saw this one and couldnt believe the picture I was seeing for the price it was advertised (999.00) so I did a little research on it and decided it was what I wanted. I setup a simple hd antenna I got for 10 bux and couldnt believe the picture I was getting over the air in 1080p! I also have cable but I havent ordered the HD package yet. Im getting a 420i resolution from that so the quality isnt that great but much better than my old tube I had, thats for sure. The extra features are awesome, smooth motion effect and real cinema modes are awesome! When you turn up the smooth motion effect it really gives whatever you are watching that “in the studio feel”. It weird, its like you are there on the set watching them film a scene. Everyone of my friends who have seen it trip out on that. Great buy for the money Id recommend it to anyone!
