Apple Quietly Started Selling Some Neat New iPhone Accessories

It’s been an unexpectedly big week for Apple.

Earlier, it introduced the iPhone Pocket, a knit-woven carrying case that costs $230. Then it rolled out Digital ID to all iPhone users, a feature designed to make domestic travel in the US a little easier.

While both of those announcements were widely covered, Apple has also done something a little more under the radar — it’s started selling a couple new iPhone accessories.

More specifically, Apple has teamed up with several third-party gadgets (including Zens, Nimble and PopSockets) to sell exclusive versions of existing gadgets in a new “Dark Cherry” finish.

PopSockets Kick-Out Grip & Stand (Dark Cherry)

This is a traditional PopSockets grip and kickstand. It comes with a MagSafe-compatible adaptor ring that makes it magnetically grip the back of today’s iPhones.

Zens Magnetic Nightstand Charger (Dark Cherry)

This USB-C-powered wireless charger features a convertible design and is MagSafe-compatible. It supports your iPhone’s StandBy mode, making it a good nightstand companion.

Zens Charging Cable Pro 2 (Dark Cherry)

This 2-in-1 charging cable powers your laptop (via USB-C) and iPhone or AirPods (via MagSafe puck). It lacks the Apple Watch charging puck of the Zens’ Charging Cable Pro 3, but it is $50 less expensive.

Nimble Champ Stretch 10K Charger (Dark Cherry)

This portable charger has 10,000mAh capacity and features a 2.3-foot-long retractable USB-C cable. It’s capable of charging your 30-watt device, making it an ideal partner for iPhones and iPads.

Nimble Daily Travel Kit (Dark Cherry)

The Daily Travel Kit comes with Nimble’s Travel Kit Pouch, a MagSafe-compatible 10,000mAh portable battery, and a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. The pouch is the only accessory in the Dark Cherry finish.
