A Historic British Brand Has Launched Its Lightest, Most Driver-Focused Car in Nearly a Century

One century after Bentley created its first ‘Super Sports’, the brand has revived the nameplate for only the fourth time in its history. As the most driver-focused Continental GT ever, it brings a non-hybrid twin-turbo V8 producing 657 horsepower, an eight-speed DCT, as well as a rear-wheel-drive layout and some carbon ceramic brakes. Riding on some lightweight forged wheels developed with Manthey Racing and breathing through an Akrapovič full-length titanium exhaust system, it tips the scales at less than 2,000 kilograms, shaving over half a ton off the Continental GT and making it the lightest Bentley in the last 85 years. Just 500 will be built.

Available in five relaxed fit sizes, the Switch features a NetPlus nylon exterior made from recycled fishing nets and SeaWool insulation from recycled oyster shells, plus a PFAS-free DWR finish, YKK zippered exterior and interior chest pockets and hand pockets and a hem drawcord. From town to trail, it’s also just comfortable and stylish AF. In addition to the Black/Sage colorway shown here, the jacket also comes in Bluebird/Indigo and Sangria/Sandy.
