WESN’s Fan-Favorite Rugged EDC Knife Handle Treatment Returns with Four Times the Super Steel

We last saw this rocky handle and premium blade combo on the Microblade. Now it’s hitting a whole collection sure to sell out fast.

Late last year, WESN dropped what we here at GP consider the coolest and best Microblade ever, the Ridgeback.

Clearly, we are not alone, as the Detroit-based brand is now bringing this rocky-looking, grip-boosting hammered titanium handle to several other popular knives.

That’s right, the Allman, Bornas, Samla and Henry are getting the Ridgeback treatment, which also boasts a corresponding upgrade to Böhler M390 super steel

Here’s a bit more info about each individual knife, but don’t snooze, as once this limited-edition collection launches tomorrow morning, it’s not likely to stick around for long.

WESN Ridgeback Allman

This dependable everyday option features a 2.8-inch blade, a rear flipper, a sturdy frame lock, a lanyard hole, a bead and a weight of 3.65 ounces. It’s priced at $365 and limited to 200 pieces.

WESN Ridgeback Bornas

This backcountry-ready fixed blade measures 5.9 inches total, with 2.75 inches being the beefy full-tang cutting edge. In addition to the lanyard hole and bead, it comes with its own Kydex sheath. It costs $400 and is limited to 100 pieces.

WESN Ridgeback Samla

This elegant friction folder packs a 2.45-inch sheepsfoot blade, a feathery weight of 1.4 ounces and its own hand-crafted Swedish veg-tan leather sheath. It’s priced at $225 and limited to 100 pieces.

WESN Ridgeback Henry

This classic slip-joint features a 2.35-inch blade (with a nail nick for deployment), a lanyard hole and bead and a weight of just 1.6 ounces. It costs $255 and is limited to 100 pieces.

All four new WESN Ridgeback knives launch at 11 a.m. EST tomorrow, November 15, with prices starting at $225.
