Each year, GQ picks a number of emerging designers to be part of its Best New Menswear Designers in America (BNMDA) program. The designers who make the final cut partner up with Gap to release limited-edition collections of clothing and accessories, which often sell out quickly. This year, to celebrate the program’s success over the past 10 years, GQ has brought back four alumni from the program: Michael Bastian (2006, 2011), Steven Alan (2008), Saturdays NYC (2012) and John Elliot (2014). These designers are some of the program’s strongest; they’ve evolved far past capsule collections and have established their own influence on menswear as a whole. Since these designers’ eponymous goods are so coveted, the modestly priced, limited-edition Gap collection will sell out fast. Shop while you can.
