The crew at burgeoning brand Kansept Knives can really relate to that wry observation at the moment.

After all, they had set out to showcase (and sell) their snazzy new limited-edition folder at the year’s biggest knife expo earlier this month, until the entire shipment got held up at customs.

But it’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good, as that means the 2026 Blade Show Atlanta Exclusive Symétrix is now available for enthusiasts and collectors to purchase online.

Just as the rare baseball “error card” often appreciates in value, I’d argue that makes the knife even more compelling, on top of renowned French custom knife maker Alain André’s distinctive design.

The most mesmerizing feature here is undoubtedly the blend of art and geography on the Ti-Graphic titanium handle treatment.

In the foreground, we see a purple-hued Atlanta skyline, while the background nods to the unmistakable brush strokes of Vincent Van Gogh’s 1889 masterpiece, The Starry Night, with the entire graphic enhanced by precision titanium anodization.

The irony of a pocket knife channeling an artist perhaps most famous for cutting off part of his own ear (admittedly with a razor) is not lost on me, but neither is the unique beauty of this folder.

For the record, the blade is no slouch either: a 2.8-inch clip-point blade made of premium satin-finished S35VN steel, deployed via a small rear flipper and held in place with a sturdy frame lock.

The knife also features a pivot wheel that recalls CRKT’s Walker Blade Lock, plus a stylized non-reversible tip-up clip.

Oh, and there’s another sneaky IYKYK touch I’d be remiss not to mention: sneakily printed on the inside of the frame is “Blade Show Atlanta 2026,” plus the knife’s individual number (out of just 100).
