10 New Pocket Knives, Multi-Tools and EDC Items You Might Have Missed

Roughly the size and shape of a pack of cigarettes, the Kickstarter-crushing TiNexus still manages to be more capable than a typical ratchet wrench. Highlights include a swing arc of just 5 degrees, integrated magnet-boosted storage for 20 standard quarter-inch bits, and a built-in extender that can be configured to optimize either torque (L-Mode) or reach (I-Mode). Material-wise, you can opt for either wallet-friendly aluminum or tough, corrosion-resistant titanium.

Milwaukee Tool is one of the most storied, venerated tool brands on the market. And this Microtech knife pays homage to that brand with its unmistakable styling, marked by a red aluminum handle and two-tone tanto blade (with a fuller groove). And while this knife borrows its styling, it’s an incredibly capable tool in its own right, boasting a button-actuated automatic deployment and lock, Böhler M390MK high-performance blade, sturdy pocket clip and lanyard hole.

When it came out in 2025, the Vosteed Parallel changed the EDC world forever (and for the better). To this day, it is still among the slimmest locking knives ever made, and it remains Vosteed’s thinnest offering. This version retains the same silhouette, profile, size and many of the same materials, including its titanium handle, crossbar lock, thumb stud deployment and wire pocket clip. However, it also gets an S35VN steel upgrade and an etched spiderweb pattern on the handle that offers far better grip than its siblings.

Designed by Laci Szabo, this knife seeks “to bridge the gap between full-size combat blades and micro backup knives.” Measuring 10.5 inches overall, it has a slender profile that makes for discreet carry (like a boot knife), with the majority of its length made up by its 5.5-inch 1095 steel blade with a Black Traction Coating. It also has a contoured G-10 handle, comes with a black Kydex sheath and can be crafted with a serrated edge and camo finish (for an upcharge).

Most EDC load-outs don’t support carrying a full tool kit around with you on the daily, but most pockets don’t have TiMate’s functional Verolite pen in them … yet. The new multi-functional writing implement is designed with multiple modules, magnetically linked together, to create one waterproof, adaptable package designed for illuminating and correcting most everyday obstacles. The integrated tools include a three-mode, removable flashlight, dual-ended marking module, a waterproof storage compartment for three 4-mm bits and pry bar, all in a lightweight 2.1 ounce titanium package. The Verolite comes in two finishes: Titanium Grey and Tactical Black. This isn’t TiMate’s first rodeo on Kickstarter … the Verolite is preceded by the BoltLite and the CoreLite, and is 15 percent lighter, has stronger magnets and a much longer battery life.

One of The James Brand’s lightest and most affordable outdoor knives gets an unlikely yet delicious-looking handle makeover while retaining its best performance features. At just 1.8 ounces, it offers a super-secure grip via the unique “island design” concept, a reliable one-handed TJB Slide-Lock and thumb slot combo and a versatile half-serrated blade made of corrosion-resistant, edge-retaining Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel. The Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 is almost certainly the brand’s most popular, storied folding knife. And that’s saying a lot, as the brand has a deep, incredibly lauded catalog of blades. And that makes this one, with its tanto M4 blade, all the more special, as its among the most requested configurations ever. Unfortunately, that makes it hard to come by, but it’s returning for a limited time. You’ll just have to be deft enough to get one for yourself before they sell out once again, which they definitely will.

The original Civivi Headbanger, which came out in October of 2025, was an immediate hit with brand fanatics. This follow-up retains its punk rock spirit while making one particularly carry-friendly alteration: it’s a bit smaller. At 8.73 inches, the original was a little too beefy for some folks’ EDC. This one is far more manageable at 7.68 inches, yet retains the same silhouette, feature set and more. And yet, it also gets a couple of new colorways and handle materials: white G-10 or transparent Lexan, both of which get purple hardware.

The 10-inch fixed blade expertly fuses modern materials with heritage design. Brass details in the rivets and oversized lanyard hole add a touch of patina that will develop a unique look over time.

Böker ventures into multi-tool territory with this versatile outdoor-oriented release, which remains pretty lean at 4.23 ounces. Highlights include a 2.8-inch drop-point blade made of solid Sandvik 12C27 steel (with a classic nail nick and slipjoint mechanism), a wood saw, mini combination pliers, a reamer/awl, tweezers, and a toothpick integrated into the G10 handle. A glass break protruding from the back end and a tip-down pocket clip round out the compelling feature set.
