I love EDC knives and carry mine whenever possible. However, I also understand that EDC is ultimately about getting the most use out of what can reasonably be carried. For some, a dedicated knife doesn’t always maximize value.

Marvelous materials

Before we discuss what makes this multi-tool functionally unique, it’s important to dispel some doubts. While it’s not a knife, per se, it’s definitely built like one — and that’s a very good thing.

The handle scales are G10, which is a material that’s as lightweight as it is durable. The blade is made from Cerakote-coated D2, which is exceptionally hard-working for an affordable steel.

It sports a flipper deployment with a ball-bearing pivot, making it extremely quick and smooth whenever you open it.
