The Backstory

In this case, that means an EDC-capable pack that can function equally well as a soft cooler or backpack, depending on your needs. Built with robust materials and plenty of functional features, the Unrestricted Backpack lives up to its namesake. 

The Gist

The Unrestricted Backpack claims to be robust and versatile, and has the chops to back it up. If you’d like to use it as a soft cooler, this 24-liter backpack is crafted with 100-percent recycled PrimaLoft® Gold thermal insulation, 100-percent recycled CORDURA® fabric, a leakproof, welded liner and super-cush OrthoLite® straps. It can hold up to 39 cans (hence those padded straps for extra comfort) and will hold its own on the trail. 

If you’d like to tap it for EDC duties, Dometic has you covered: the Unrestricted Backpack comes with a laptop compartment to keep valuables safe, as well as dual water bottle pockets, four side-cinch straps with aluminum G hook attachments, internal organization pockets, daisy chain attachments and more. Plus, its rugged materials keep essentials protected during the daily commute. And thanks to its insulation, the Unrestricted Pack can even keep things warm, extending its utility.
