Black Friday came early for fans of Snow Peak. It’s also not going away.

In a surprise move, the Japanese brand known for its elevated camping gear dropped the prices of literally dozens of titanium accessories, including its iconic mugs, bottles and spork (as well as its cousin, the “foon“).

While the many metal goods are more expensive than ever, Snow Peak lowered prices across its iconic collection of titanium camping gear.

While the degree of discount varies from item to item, the deals appear to be significant, especially on more expensive items.

The price of the small single-walled mug is now $25 (down from $33), whereas the base Aurora Bottle now costs $100 (previously $134).

Notoriously lightweight, durable enough and naturally corrosion resistant, titanium has been a staple of Snow Peak’s catalog for decades.

“Few product lines better embody Snow Peak’s spirit of metalworking craftsmanship than titanium,” the brand says on its website.

Also, as any collector will tell you, equipment made from the stuff is often a gateway into the broader Snow Peak ecosystem, where the gear is not cheap.

It’s unclear why Snow Peak decided to drop its prices, however, it’s possible that the company wants to clear current inventory to make way for newly engineered alternatives.

In 2023, it introduced new manufacturing processes to remove certain chemicals from the production of titanium goods. And coming into 2025, the brand introduced a new rim on its mugs that stays cooler to the touch.

There is some suspicion among enthusiasts that the company plans to move titanium manufacturing overseas.

To date, a majority of its titanium wares hail from the town of Tsubame-Sanjo, widely seen as the metalworking capital of Japan. That said, some select gear, such as the “designed-in-Japan” Recycled Titanium Aurora Bottle, is now made in South Korea.

Until that happens — and whether it even does — few Snow Peak fans should take issue with an overwhelmingly obvious boon: that some of its most iconic essentials are more accessible than ever.
