Kanto Audio has been making some of our favorite desktop and bookshelf-sized powered speaker systems for the last several years.

Specifically, both its Ora and Ren lines are easy recommendations for those looking to upgrade their computer (or even turntable-based) hi-fi system.

And now, the Canadian hi-fi company is having a massive sale on most of its best powered speakers. The sale runs now through December 4th.

Kanto Ora4 — Save $150

Released in fall 2024, the Ora4 is one of our favorite powered speaker systems for desktop use — it’s essentially a newer, better, and slightly bigger version of Kanto’s Ora, which was already an excellent compact speaker setup.

Like the Oras, the Ora4 connects to your computer via USB and has analog RCA inputs, plus Bluetooth support, making it pretty versatile.

But the Ora4 is a more powerful speaker system, with a 140-watt peak power compared to the Ora’s 100 watts, thus it delivers bigger and better sound. (For those wondering, the “4” in the Ora4’s name refers to their four-inch woofer, which is slightly bigger than the Ora’s three-inch woofer.)

Normally $450, Kanto is discounting the Ora4 by $150 right now. You can snag a pair in one of seven different colors: black, white, grey, cream, moon, purple or red. (If you purchase from Amazon, some of these speakers are as low as $240.)

Kanto Ren — Save $240

Released in September 2024, Kanto’s Ren is a bookshelf-sized powered speaker system can work as a seriously badass desktop speaker system — it can connect to your computer via USB-C or 3.5mm, just like the Ora4 and Ora.

That said, the Ren are even more versatile as they have an HDMI ARC connection — a first for a Kanto speaker — and can also serve as powered speakers for your TV.

Normally $700, Kanto is discounting its Ren powered speaker system by $250 right now.

The Ren speakers come in five different matte finish options: black, grey, orange, blue, or white.

Kanto Ora — Save up to $150

For those looking for a smaller and more affordable desktop speaker system than Kanto’s Ora4, the brand is also discounting its original Ora this holiday season.

These Ora speakers are slightly shorter, thinner and less powerful than the Ora, but they are just as easy to use with your computer thanks to USB-C and 3.5mm connections. They have built-in Bluetooth, so you can stream music to them, too.
