Vosteed Reimagines a Beefy Cleaver EDC Knife with Premium Material and Performance Upgrades

Vosteed’s Nip-L is both a new version of an existing knife, the Divo Nip, and a reimagining. Not only is it bigger, boasting a 3.15-inch blade that’s a serious bump up from the original’s 2.25-inch option, but it’s also more refined, ergonomic, convenient and even safer. It also sees its steel upgraded from S90V to Elmax, the handle is now crafted from titanium and it gets a button lock. It’s a pretty solid example of how a revival should be done: not a copy, but an improvement.

As the first droptop variant of the GT3, Porsche’s S/C (Sport Cabriolet) is based on the up-spec 911, though it replaces its bodywork with a lightweight set of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) hood, fenders, and doors from the 911 S/T. Accordingly, even though the car features a powered folding roof, Porsche says it nevertheless tips the scales at a svelte 3,322 pounds. Add to that a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat six good for 502 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque, and it’s made only better by its manual-only transmission option. While the S/C isn’t a limited-production model, it does come with exclusive touches like a matching Porsche Design chronograph 911 GT3 S/C.
