Google Pixel

The first “pure” Android smartphone, with unfiltered access to the world’s most powerful search engine: Google.

The Pixel is Google’s first-ever “pure” smartphone. No longer is Google simply licensing its Android OS to others (namely HTC, Samsung, LG and Huawei); instead, it brought hardware in-house, and filled the Nexus-sized void with a dynamic device that’s already rubbing elbows with the iOS and Android giants. The Pixel is equipped with a top-grade Snapdragon 821 processor, arguably the best smartphone camera ever, and the lightning-quick, Google-made Android 7.1 Nougat operating system.

Most notable, however, is the smartphone’s unfiltered access to the world’s most powerful search engine: Google. The Pixel comes preloaded with Google’s virtual assistant, named Google Assistant, whose intelligence and question-answering ability is beyond Siri, Cortana and Alexa. It’s the smartest smartphone yet, and it is also the only smartphone that’ll work fully with Google’s VR headset, Daydream, along with Google Home.

And, it still has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
