Dwell’s chic, spare furniture is typically found with a four-digit price tag. Bronze bar carts, wood-legged sofas, minimal chairs and tables — all beautiful, but often out of reach. Now, the brand has teamed with Target to produce many of the same things, but at a much lower price point.
The collection is made up of 120 pieces, ranging in price from $16 to $399. An adjustable bar stool is $75. LED Pendant is $100. A hand-tufted rug is $190. The partnership is a win for all: consumers’ appetites for modern and mid-century furniture only seem to be growing, and this allows a young company to massively increase its reach while lending an air of credibility to a big-box corporate store. On sale December 27.
