Audioengine is currently having a big holiday sale on many of its best desktop and home hi-fi speakers — check out the deals here.

For anybody looking to create a badass hi-fi system for their home office and wants something different than the standard pair of computer speakers, I’d point you toward Audioengine’s Stereo Flex Kit, which is also on sale.

With the N22 amplifier, you can turn your passive bookshelf speakers into a superb pair of desktop speakers.

The Stereo Flex Kit combines two Audioengine components: the N22 (Gen 2) desktop amplifier and the P4 passive bookshelf speakers.

The amplifier plugs directly into your computer via USB-C or 3.5mm, just like any pair of desktop speakers. And it’s capable of delivering 50 watts per channel into 6 ohms (and works with 4- or 8-ohm passive speakers), making it a perfect partner for Audioengine’s P4s.

Additionally, the N22 (Gen 2) has a built-in headphone amplifier and supports Bluetooth streaming, so you can use wired headphones or stream to the system (if you don’t want to use them with your computer).

The P4 bookshelf speakers in bamboo are significantly more expensive — they cost $75 more than the black or white models.

As for the P4s, they’re one of Audioengine’s signature passive bookshelf speakers. They have a 2-way, front-ported design that pairs a 0.75-inch silk tweeter with a 4-inch Kevlar mid-woofer.

Each speaker stands 9 inches tall and weighs roughly 6 pounds, so they’re much bigger than your average desktop speakers. And they’re available in three different finishes: black, white or bamboo.

The N22 (Gen 2) amplifier adds Bluetooth streaming to the P4 speakers, too.

What’s the deal?

Audioengine’s Stereo Flex Kit normally sells for $518, but is getting discounted for the holidays. You can pick up the set with either black or white speakers for $379.

If you want the bamboo speakers, that’s a little pricier. That Stereo Flex Kit typically costs $594, but is being lowered to $429 for the holiday sale.

It’s worth pointing out that, individually, both the N22 (Gen 2) desktop amplifier and the P4 bookshelf speakers are also on sale, but the discounted kit is still the better deal as it saves you an addition $25-ish.
