Today, NAD Electronics is one of the leading names in audiophile-grade music streamers and streaming amplifiers — they’re beautifully designed (with large colorful displays), incredibly versatile and capable of streaming high-resolution audio.
For those seeking a more vintage aesthetic, the British, now Canada-based, hi-fi manufacturer also offers its “Classic Series,” which comprises modern integrated amplifiers designed to resemble the brand’s iconic 1970s amplifiers.
To date, this Classic Series has been headlined by the NAD C 3050 ($1,699), which was released in mid-2023 as a modern version of the brand’s 1978-released 3030 stereo amplifier. But for those looking for a smaller, more affordable alternative, NAD has now introduced two new stereo integrated amplifiers to this Classic Series.
NAD C 3030 and NAD C 3030S

A new entry point, classic amps
The NAD C 3030 and NAD C 3030S are the newest additions to the brand’s Classic Series. Both are smaller and more compact than the existing NAD C 3050, which is a stereo integrated amplifier capable of driving 100 watts per channel and thus designed for more demanding loudspeakers.
On the flip side, the NAD C 3030 and NAD C 3030S — which are identical in most ways — are stereo amplifiers capable of driving 50 watts per channel. According to the brand, they’re “engineered to deliver musical accuracy, control, and engagement across a wide range of loudspeakers.”
