WiiM has become quite the disruptor in the budget hi-fi space over recent years. The California-based audio company is now well known for its streaming amplifiers (and wireless streamers), which are just as easy to use but significantly less expensive than rival options from Sonos and Bluesound.

These streaming amplifiers are “just add speakers”hi-fi components. You plug them into power, connect them with a pair of passive bookshelf speakers and — boom! — you’ve got a modern stereo setup that supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming.

Today, WiiM makes several streaming amplifiers. The WiiM Amp and WiiM Amp Pro are its two most entry-level options, with the latter promising slightly improved audio quality. The WiiM Amp Ultra adds more power and a beautiful display for showing album artwork.

Additionally, WiiM also released its first non-streaming amplifier earlier this year in the Vibelink Amp, in case you want a more traditional hi-fi setup.

WiiM’s catalog of amplifiers is perfect for anybody looking to “breathe new life” into an unused pair of bookshelf speakers. And, for Prime Day, most of them are on sale. Note: The only amplifier not on sale is the WiiM Amp Ultra ($529), the brand’s most premium option.

The WiiM Amp is the company’s entry-level streaming amplifier that works very similarly to the Sonos Amp — it can drive your passive speakers (up to four) while adding both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming capabilities as well.

The “Pro” streaming amp

WiiM Amp Pro

We called this one of the best 100 products of 2024 for good reason. The WiiM Amp Pro takes the brand’s minimalist, high-value ethos to new sonic heights. Building on the success of the original Amp, this all-in-one streaming amplifier adds a premium DAC with 32-bit/384kHz support and Post-Filter Feedback technology for cleaner, lower-distortion playback. HDMI ARC, optical, and analog inputs keep things flexible, while built-in streaming covers Spotify, Tidal, AirPlay 2, and more. At $379, it’s an accessible yet capable centerpiece for anyone looking to modernize passive speakers without diving deep into high-end hi-fi. Just add speakers, and the Amp Pro does the rest—quietly punching well above its price point.

The traditional stereo amp

The WiiM Vibelink Amplifier is the brand’s first hi-fi component without wireless streaming capabilities. It’s a traditional stereo power amplifier that delivers 100 watts per channel (into 8 ohms). According to the brand, it is designed for “high-fidelity sound across digital and analog sources.” It is ideal for powering passive loudspeakers and pairing with the brand’s existing music streamers.
