The Acer VL7860 was unveiled back in the summer and it made headlines as “the world’s smallest 4K UHD laser projector.” That’s still true, but it hasn’t been available in the US — until today. Acer just announced that the VL7860 projector is now able for purchase from any of its authorized resellers (which, you can find here). The VL7860 is a projector designed for home cinema enthusiasts, promising a huge 120-inch picture with excellent 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) and HDR. According to What HiFi, the tiny VL7860 (50cm long, 33cm wide) can throw a 4K picture using the similar Texas Instruments technology that’s found in the much more expensive Benq X12000.

The Acer VL7860 projector is available in the US for $4,000.
