Reveals, New Launches and Gear
Jamis Defcon 27.5
New Jersey-based Jamis Bicycles have launched an all-new enduro machine called the Defcon. Utilizing an MP4 suspension system, the bike is designed to pedal efficiently and attack all of the rowdy trail that you can throw at it. The Defcon 1 features a 6061 air-formed aluminum frame that is kitted-out with all of the top parts. 160mm of travel in the front and rear are provided by a Fox 36 Kashima Coat fork and Fox Float X Evol respectively. It also comes standard with an anodized blue stem and handlebar combo that matches the wheels. Not only will you be ripping down your favorite trail, but you’ll look great doing it, too.
Square Cash
Yet another salvo in the war against wallets, Square Cash takes the Venmo’s monetary-exchange-as-social-media approach one step further with browser-accessible user profiles (or “CashTags”), to whose owners you can pay back IOU’s, pay rent, pay for goods, and on and on.
