New & Noteworthy Releases
Luminox Navy SEAL Steel
If you’re looking for a tough-as-nails watch, look no further than the reintroduction of Luminox’s stainless steel Navy SEAL. Luminox (which actually equips the real Navy SEALS with watches) bestowed the new Navy SEAL with a reliable Swiss-made quartz movement, a carbon reinforced polycarbonate bezel, 200-meters of water resistance and Luminox’s self-powered illumination system. The lume utilizes gas-filled tubes that always emit light (unlike other types of lume that need to be “charged” by sunlight), always providing its wearer effortless access to the time of day with a quick glance, even in complete darkness for up to 25 years.
HEAdesigns Wingman Pocketknife
Who says a bespoke pocketknife has to look like an antique? Sam Abdelrahman, the founder of HEAdesigns, crafted his latest midsize folder with an eye to the future. “I wanted to design something that looked like it could move at the speed of light,” he says. But the Wingman’s flash isn’t all exterior; the knife’s Wharncliffe blade is forged from high-quality stainless steel and, when folded, hides flush inside its aircraft-grade titanium handle. — Tanner Bowden
Paul McCartney’s Aston Martin DB5
A 1964 Aston Martin DB5, originally owned by Paul McCartney is going up for auction at Bonham’s Bond Street Sale on December 2. The car has been painstakingly restored to near perfect condition, including an optional Philips Auto-Mignon record player McCartney had fitted. It’s expected to sell for between $1,600,000-$2,000,000. –Bryan Campbell
Lady White Co. Gym T-Shirt
Lady White Co. just launched its own website stocked with a range of great basics including tees, henleys and sweatshirts. A standout piece is the Gym T-shirt, an athletic-inspired ringer tee with a tonal collar. The mid-weight shirt is made from American cotton produced on circular knitting machines and features flatlock stitching. In short, it’s a well-made shirt that will break-in with a bit of wear, and get better with every wash. — John Zientek
Anker Zolo Liberty Wireless Earphones
The Zolo Liberty are Anker’s first pair of truly wireless earphones. They’re also, to my knowledge, the most budget-friendly truly wireless earphones you can buy, costing $50 less than what the AirPods and Google Pixel Buds both go for $159. Better still, they’ll work with the smart assistant that’s on your smartphone, and a single charge will give each earbud roughly 3.5 hours of playtime. — Tucker Bowe
Fresh Deals
Sony’s New Noise-Canceling Headphones Are Just $250 (That’s $100 Off)
About a month ago, we published a deal on Sony’s MDR-1000X wireless noise-canceling headphones; eBay was offering them for $180 each, 55-percent off the normal $399 MSRP. Today, you can still get a pretty great deal on Sony’s MDR-1000X — eBay is selling them for $200 each (here) — but you can also score a deal on Sony’s newer noise-canceling headphones, the Sony WH-1000XM2s. They usually go for $350 each, but eBay is offering them for $250.
The Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones were released in 2017 and took the place of MDR-1000X in Sony’s wireless noise-canceling lineup. Both headphones look very much alike, but the WH-1000XM2s have a slightly grippier texture and come with a few extra features, such as Sony’s Quick Attention, which allows you to instantly lower the volume of music by putting your hand over the right earcup. All-in-all, both headphones boast the same superb noise-canceling technology and audio quality, the Sony WH-1000XM2s are just a slightly newer model. (What Hi-Fi gave the Sony WH-1000XM2s 5/5 stars.)

Most humidifiers are one-season splurges that sit in storage most of the year. Dyson’s AM10 humidifier, however, doubles as a fan for four-season use. Though it normally costs $500 online, you can score a refurbished model on eBay for just $300 (40% off).
