Save $78: Sony’s SP700N’s do have a lot of redeeming qualities. They sound good. They are sweat- and water-resistant. And thanks to a combo of silicone earbuds and earwings, you can get them to fit very snugly in your ears. All in all, I’d recommend them to most anybody looking for true wireless earbuds to workout in. As for price, the SP700N’s are usually expensive, coming in at $178, eBay is selling them for more than $75 off.
Save 10% Among many internet furniture companies, Burrow manages to be a bit different. Its couches, chairs, throws and pillows are all made in the US and all ship to your place for free. The cushion fabric on the couch and chairs is stain-resistant, and there’s even a built-in USB port to plug a phone or laptop charger into.
Burrow furniture arrives at your home in a few boxes. This means there’s some assembly required, but it’s all snapping parts together and a bit of elbow grease (Burrow says it requires no tool and takes 10 minutes, max).
Today on Huckberry, Burrow gear is 10 percent off — a forgettable discount on most things, but not a couch. Ten percent off a Burrow couch is a cool $120 saved. Huckberry stocks the couch in grey, navy and charcoal. —Will Price
Filson Clothing and Accessories
Save up to 65%:Seattle-based brand Filson has been outfitting loggers, hunters and all forms of rugged outdoorsmen with clothing and gear since 1897. The brand’s wool and tin cloth outerwear has gone largely unchanged for a century and its bags are favorites of both city commuters and rural workers. Filson’s reputation for quality materials and American manufacturing justify the price point of its products — if you buy a Mackinaw jacket, chances are you’ll still be wearing it decades from now.
But if you want to pick up something from the brand for a substantial discount, head over to Filson’s Winter Sale where you can save up to 65 percent on a range of rugged clothing and gear. Pick from outerwear, bags and more, but don’t wait because things are selling out quickly. — John Zientek
Lodge Cast-Iron Skillets
Save Up to 50% The cast-iron skillet is heavy and occasionally tedious, but it’s the only piece of cookware that you can buy dirt cheap and not see much drop-off in performance. Truth be told, the pans boutique skillet-makers are putting out don’t perform that much better than your everyday Lodge skillets. They’ll typically be a fair bit lighter and sport a machined-smooth cooking surface (food will release from them with a bit less fuss), but it’s not necessarily game-changing.
Today on Amazon, Lodge’s cast-iron skillets are on sale. Starting a $5, Lodge’s range runs wide — a creme brulee-sized 3.5 inches at the smallest to a whopping 15-inch, 12-pound behemoth at the largest. Don’t forget to buy extra oil for seasoning. —Will Price
Save up to 30%:Founded in 1883, Texas-based Lucchese makes some of the finest boots in America. Originally based in San Antonio, the company moved to El Paso in 1987 where it is still headquartered today. While the brand has outsourced some of its entry-level production to Mexico, it still makes a range of top-tier boots in America. And while the high prices rightly reflect the quality materials and domestic craftsmanship, they also signal that these boots are investments.
If you’ve been jonesing for a pair of Lucchese boots but haven’t wanted to pay list price, head over to Zappos today. You can save up to 30 percent on a range of American-made styles including cowboy boots, Chelsea boots and more. There are plenty of sizes and colors available, so browse the selection and see what catches your eye — it’s hard to beat the quality and finishing on these. — John Zientek
