Pro-JectPro-Ject Scorpions Turntable
Pro-Ject has added a new turntable to its Artist Series, which pays homage to some of the most iconic musicians and bands of the past. This time, it’s the legendary metal band Scorpions’ turn. The special-edition turntable features artwork from the band’s iconic Blackout album, which was released in 1982. Like others in the collection, the turntable is based on Pro-Ject’s T2, which sells for $649, and comes equipped with a Pick it 25A Moving Magnet Ortofon cartridge.
Flint and TinderFlint and Tinder x Rancourt & Co. Leather Tote
This made-in-USA bison leather tote is so refined, you may actually find joy in schlepping your stuff around. The Leather Tote is a collaboration between Flint and Tinder and Lewiston, Maine-based Rancourt & Co., and is handcrafted using full-grain bison leather sourced from the legendary Horween Leather Company in Chicago. The large open top gives access to the interior sleeve and multi-purpose pockets, and the rolled leather handles will stay in place while getting from point A to B. The rich textured leather will get better with each wear, and its organic pattern means each bag has its own unique look.
BugattiBugatti F.K.P. Hommage
In celebration of the Veyron’s 20th anniversary, Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire has unveiled its second creation: the F.K.P. Hommage. Named after the man behind the original car—Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch—it’s essentially a modern reimagining of the iconic record-setter. As such, even though this one-off Bugatti wears rounded bodywork that’s meant to look like a Veyron, it’s actually based on the brand’s current W16 chassis. Accordingly, with power coming from the same quad-turbocharged engine as found in the Chiron Super Sport, it makes an authoritative 1,600 horsepower compared to its predecessor’s 1,001.
NordicaNordica Unleashed 106
The vaunted Italian ski brand adds to its popular freeride collection with a versatile 106mm option that can hold an edge on firmer snow and bust loose when the pow flies. The psychedelically patterned shred sticks boast a revamped rocker profile plus playful new tip and tail shapes, anchored by a poplar wood core and carbon stringers for plenty of pop. Meanwhile, Nordica’s new Drift Lock tech — a waist-specific strip of metal — boosts edge hold when conditions demand it. (A metal-free alternative with added carbon for a surfier vibe, the Unleashed 106 CA, launches concurrently for $900.)
Blue OwlSamurai “Kasuri Stripe” Sashiko Workshirt in Natural Indigo
Legendary Japanese denim brand Samauri presents a 100-percent cotton workshirt produced with traditional Kasuri Stripe fabric, which consists of yarns dyed with various shades of natural indigo, then woven to create vertical lines that fade into one another. The fabric is embellished with intricate Sashiko stitching that emulates falling rain. It is finished with triple-needle stitching on the shoulders and arms, chain-stitched side seams and gusseted side vents.
