Kodak’s New 35mm Film Camera Is Absurdly Affordable

The Kodak EC35 is the most affordable Kodak-branded 35mm film camera. It’s positioned as an even more affordable option than the brand’s $99 Snapic A1, which was released in late 2025. The EC35 packs a 25mm lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and fixed 1/100 second shutter speed. It features a slide cover for protecting the lens, as well as a built-in flash (AA batteries required). And it takes Kodak Ultramax 400 film (sold separately). Obviously, the Kodak EC35 is designed for those who want to take their first stab at shooting 35mm without breaking the bank. The EC35 comes in seven fun colors.

Eck Design’s new TriReso is a modular rescue whistle system that can be used as a single unit thanks to integrated magnets, or split into three and shared amongst a group.
