PDW Apex Boonie Hat

If you’re at all familiar with the Vietnam War or have seen movies set in this locale and era, you most certainly are aware of the iconic boonie hat. Well, PDW has paid homage to that iconic military cap in its contemporary reinterpretation, the aptly named Apex Boonie Hat. While it still very much looks the part, it is significantly modernized with a custom-milled 2-way stretch NYCO+ ripstop exterior, bug-proof NoSeeUm mesh liner, synthetic micro-suede sweatband and a cinching crown fit system. It’s also available in three colorways and two sizes.

2027 Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink Edition

Hyundai just dropped a new, special edition of its top-selling midsize SUV, the Palisade Hybrid. It’s called the Calligraphy Black Ink Edition. Based on the range-topping Calligraphy trim, the new variant comes with, as you’ve probably guessed, tons of black-colored theming. Ranging from the wheels, exterior and interior trim bits, to the body paint and leather color, the result is one murdered out Palisade Hybrid. But should you want all of the appointments, except with a different exterior color, it’s also available in Ecotronic Gray Pearl and Creamy White Pearl, outside the pictured Abyss Black Pearl. The Black Ink trim will be available at local dealers later this month for all Calligraphy trim Palisades.

Marshall Acton IV and Stanmore IV

Marshall’s fourth-generation powered Bluetooth speakers, the Acton IV (pictured) and larger Stanmore IV, don’t flip the script. They have the same amp-inspired design as their predecessors, but have upgraded acoustics and come with a few new features. Specifically, each speaker features improved tweeters and waveguides, promising wider, more immersive sound. And a redesigned bass port helps each deliver deeper, cleaner bass. The standout new feature is that each now supports Auracast, allowing each to be grouped over Bluetooth with a wide variety of other Auracast-compatible speakers and headphones. Both speakers are available in black or cream finishes.

Hublot Big Bang Sapphire Sky Blue

Hublot keeps the summer vibes rolling with the Big Bang Sapphire Sky Blue, an airy take on the brand’s transparent integrated icon. The watch features a 44mm case made of clear sapphire crystal, making it nearly impossible to scratch, paired with an integrated rubber strap and skeletonized dial in Sky Blue. Many components of the in-house “Meca-10” manually wound movement are also treated with the same light blue shade, as much of the movement is visible through the sapphire front, sides and back of the watch. The movement has a ten-day power reserve, which is tracked via a numbered disc at 6:00, and the water resistance is a pool-worthy 50m. The watch is limited to just 100 pieces worldwide.

Camp Buffalo Trace

If you’re nostalgic for the summer camp of your youth, Camp Buffalo Trace might be the solution. Taking place this August 29 and September 5, the exclusive 21+ experience “reimagines classic summer camp activities,” but with a bourbon-making twist. These include a whiskey woodcraft workshop, a barrel tasting challenge, a bung driving relay and more. 100 winners will be selected from a sweepstakes that runs from July 14 through July 21. All winners will participate in the “day camp” activities, with a select 10 individuals being chosen to continue their summer camp adventure into the next morning with a luxury overnight experience on the distillery grounds.

Beachman Aviator

Toronto-based Beachman’s latest entry in the retro-styled electric two-wheeler space is this head-turning café racer, which arrives just in time for summer in two distinct configurations: a $5,499 class 2 e-bike and a $5,999 light moto. In e-bike form it boasts an on-road top speed of 20 mph and an off-road top speed of 35 mph, 300-pound carry capacity and two battery options, the latter of which promises 80-plus miles of range. The light moto cranks the throttle to 45 mph and can accommodate up to 350 pounds, with similar range options to the e-bike. Both versions offer tank and seat color customizability, remote start/stop and unique security features. A third configuration, equivalent to a 125cc moto, is scheduled to arrive this fall.

J.Press Code Flag Motif Nylon Watch Strap

J.Press is the GOAT of American prep because it offers the kind of esoteric oddities that define the genre, like a nylon watch strap embroidered with nautical code flags. It is a pass-through strap with a gold-tone pin buckle and a matching fabric loop. Several other motifs are available, including whales, a silhouette of Nantucket in “Nantucket red,” more nautical flags and a vibrant arrangement of colored stripes.
