The North Face Gives Its Signature Puffer Slip-On a Classy, City-Going Upgrade

The North Face’s Thermoball mules are some of the brand’s most iconic shoes, combining the cozy comfort of a puffer jacket with a slip-on. This latest edition continues that trend but elevates it to a more refined level. While these slippers still have the same silhouette and overall appearance, the upper is now made from premium leather, offering finer, more urbane styling.

The most ambitious Kickstarter project yet from the mad scientists at Titaner is this functional work of art, an incredibly versatile “fractal clamping instrument.” Milled and machined from aerospace-grade titanium, as usual, this indispensable workshop tool boasts a matrix of 16 precise contact points, a four-layer, three-group interlocking jaw system, intelligent torque, reversible jaws, nearly 4 inches of travel and a universal swivel base. Those features enable it to hold practically anything, at any angle, in a firm but gentle manner that lets you do whatever work needs to be done, without fear of slippage.
