Who’s a good dog? Trick question: all of the dogs are good, including yours. And it stands to reason that you want to give your incredibly good dog the best life and gear imaginable, and that probably includes a comfortable bed and a badass dog leash. That logic should extend to the car, which is why Land Rover has announced a few new “Pet Packs.” The fresh gear is meant to keep your dog both safe and comfortable in the back of your SUV.
Each of the three new packs are intended for different purposes. First, we have the Pet Load Space Protection Pack, designed to turn your Landy’s rear cargo space into your doggo’s domain, with the notable inclusions of a quilted floor liner, a partition and a spill-resistant water bowl. The Pet Transportation Pack has a collapsible carrier and a rubber load space liner. Finally, the Care and Access Pack has a ramp to give smaller and older dogs an assist into the rear cargo area and a portable rinse system, because even your very good dog isn’t perfect.
While the area liners are a great addition to keep your car’s interior clean, accessories like the partition and cage are essential additions for both the safety of your pup and your vehicle’s occupants; in some states, it’s even illegal to drive with your dog unrestrained. At the end of the day, though, they’ll make excursions easier for both you and your four-legged friend. The accessories will be available in the US this winter and will be made to accommodate specific Land Rover models. The products can be purchased both in packs or as individual items.
