Buying a used car can be a complex, painstaking process. A new study by iSeeCars.com makes things a bit simpler, by serving up a list of the best inexpensive cars
The website crunched data on every used vehicle from model year 2011 or later. They looked at value versus the average used purchase price for all different types of vehicles — which, amazingly, is $22,661 for all passenger vehicles, and a jaw-dropping $29,905 for used pickup trucks. They also factored in durability, whether the car would likely last to 200,000 miles, and safety, only choosing vehicles that scored at least four stars out of five from the NHTSA.
The best value passenger cars, SUVs, and trucks are listed below. The fact that Hondas and Toyota dominate much of the list won’t surprise you…though the American brand with multiple winners might.
