American motorcycles and British wristwatches. Not an engineering combination you’d think of right off the bat. But now, thanks to Harley-Davidson and Bell & Ross, the two great tastes show that they can indeed taste great together. Leading UK dealer, Shaw Harley-Davidson (the current champs of modified Hogs) approached Bell & Ross watches with the idea to combine their respective knowledge banks to develop a truly unique bike, the Bell & Ross inspired Nascafe Racer. Based on Harley’s FXSTB Softail Night Train, the motorcycle underwent a complete strip down by Shaw then built back up from the most basic elements to its final, gorgeous form using the same kind of engineering and precision processes Bell & Ross exercises in their timepiece production. And of course, what is a Bell & Ross motorcycle anything without a matching watch. Fear not, a tank-mounted Bell & Ross BR01-94 carbon fiber watch case is a marquee showpiece specially embedded into the tank. The racer’s anodized blue, carbon and matte black paint job and uniquely and tastefully located B&R logos set the aesthetics of this bike apart from just about anything out there, which should garner plenty of attention at the Sturgis competition this August — hopefully scoring another win for the creative minds that brought this beauty to life.
