Kalk-Bike-gear-patrol-full-lead

Kalk is the latest dirtbike from the Swedish brand Cake, and it’s an example of what a mashup between a Tesla and a downhill mountain bike might look like. Weighing in at just over 150 pounds, the Kalk is fully electric, can reach a top speed of 50 miles per hour and ranges up to 50 miles per charge. The bike features a minimal, sleek design with an aluminum frame, carbon fiber body and a tiny 15-kilowatt electric motor. Cake, which is helmed by POC founder Stefan Ytterborn, plans to position the Kalk as a starting point for a future line of electric motorbikes.
