On average, motorcycle jeans tend to be oddly cut to maximize space for knee and hip armor protection. They’re also usually overly stiff for abrasion resistance. But the Roland Sands Dalton Jeans are 70 percent cotton and 30 percent kevlar construction and are low rise with a slim-straight fit. The Dalton Jeans might not have the extra reinforcement of armor at the knees and hips, but the Kevlar-infused denim claws back some of the protection to make them more roadworthy than a regular pair of Levi’s.
