I do not have any plans to go on a backpacking or camping trip anytime soon, but if I did, I think I’d spring for this Suunto Core watch. And that’s not just because it is marked down by 41% (although that helps).
Beyond cool looks, the watch boasts a handful of useful features. An altimeter tracks how many feet you climb on any given hike while a compass helps guide you along your path. Just as useful as those features are the barometer, weather trend graph and storm alarm system. The trio works together to read the atmosphere, predict changing conditions and let you know in advance if things are going to get harry. Oh yeah, and it tells time.
