Ikea has launched a surprise sale as part of its 40 Weeks of Savings promotion — a campaign celebrating the Swedish retailer’s 40th anniversary in the United States.

More importantly, the current sale surprisingly includes two of Ikea’s most premium furniture offerings: the Stockholm 2025 sofa lineup.

Ikea describes it as having “generous proportions that feel inviting and embracing,” and the sofa carries a 25-year limited warranty. During the sale, it drops from $1,999 to $1,699 — a $300 savings for Ikea Family members.

The 3-seat sofa normally retails for $1,899 and drops to $1,599 with the sale discount; the loveseat, normally $1,499, comes in at $1,259 — both with Ikea Family membership.
