Heart rate training is the way to go if you’re looking to up your fitness level, but it can be a hard metric to track and work on. ClassPass, the brand that simplified the fitness class sign-up process, can help you do that with the launch of ClassPass Live. Connect a heart rate monitor to a TV to take a 30-minute HIIT class. Trainers monitor participants’ heart rates (calling you out to pick it up), as does the leaderboard. Keep your heart rate in the target zone to zoom to the top.
Livestream high-intensity interval classes at 7, 9 and 10 AM Monday through Friday, as well as semi-live classes (still leaderboard-based) at 6 AM, 8 AM and noon. Right now, the starter kit includes a Google Chromecast and heart rate monitor, plus a monthly subscription with new classes for an annual fee of $99. Or pay $15 per month, plus $70 for the kit.
