There’s something to be said for products that make you feel like you’re living in an episode of Westworld.
Sobro, makers of another wildly successful and over-engineered living room piece, just launched an Indiegogo campaign for their second piece, and it’s safe to say they’re staying on-brand. The Sobro Smart Side Table rocks a thermoelectric cooling drawer (AKA a beer fridge), a wireless smartphone charging surface, Bluetooth-enabled speakers, four USB ports, two traditional outlet, plenty of drawer storage space and LED lighting that you can sync to the time of day. Seeing as the Indiegogo campaign has racked up almost $160,000 (300+ percent of its goal) since launching this morning, so I don’t think I’m alone in my enthusiasm.
Do I need a beer fridge in my side table? No, but I’m certainly not against it.
