Shane Chen isn’t shy about the source material behind his mid-century modern mouse — it literally says, “A Tribute to Charles and Ray Eames,” on the bottom. Featuring the Eameses’ iconic blend of black leather and molded plywood, Chen’s design is the optical mouse equivalent of the Eames lounge chair and ottoman. Unfortunately, it’s also just a concept. Chen submitted the images to the website Render Weekly, which hosts a weekly competition for industrial design.
