Unfamiliar with wood pellet grilling? Read our guide.
Traeger’s wood pellet grills, which were already the best hands-off grills on the market, just got more hands-off. Each of its three newest grills — the Pro Series, Ironwood and Timberline — can be controlled with your voice through Google Home or Alexa-enabled devices.
The full list of commands for Google and Alexa devices includes turning the grill off and on, changing temperature, setting timers, adjusting smoke settings and a number of status update questions. You’re also able to ask how many wood pellets are left in the hopper, but you need a $70 pellet sensor to do so.
