SRAM Launches New “Level” Hydraulic Brake

SRAM have launched an all-new hydraulic brake designed specifically for modern cross-country riding. They took the technology from the brakes used on Loic Bruni’s 2015 Downhill World Championship-winning bike and made it lighter, smaller and more streamlined. The idea is that you get all of the braking power demanded from a downhill champ with the two-piston caliper with none of the weight penalty.

FIFA’s Elections for a New President Are Already Absurd

In a completely unsurprising turn of events, FIFA’s election for a new president has gotten ridiculous. Candidate Prince Ali of Jordan is calling for transparency in voting — not in who is voting for who, but actual transparent voting booths.

ProEditors Video Editing Service

Getting the shot is only half the battle. After you lay down the run of your life and capture it all on film, there are still hours’ worth of video editing to be done before you can post it to Vimeo and share it out to all of the haters. ProEditors is a new service that takes your raw footage and edits it down to your specifications.

GetOutfitted Offers Ski Onesies

As a part of their ski-gear rental service, GetOutfitted has now added ski onesies to their offerings. Packages that include a onesie, goggles and gloves start at $25 a day. As a bonus, 20 percent of each onesie rental is donated to One Percent for the Planet.

ENVE Recalling Road Disc Forks

After a handful of issues, ENVE has announced a voluntary recall of a run of its Road Fork 2.0 Disc with 1.5-inch tapered steerers. The recall comes after a handful of forks cracked above the upper stud on the brake mount. Check your serial number to see if your fork is being recalled.
