Today, Pacsafe (a brand dedicated to keeping your things safe while you travel) released a new capsule collection backpack in honor of its 20th anniversary made from a recycled nylon fabric called Econyl. The Vibe 28 is the perfect size and shape for international travel. I recently took one to Barcelona (a city known for its rampant pickpocketing) to put it to the test. Luckily, there were no attempted thefts, but if you are less fortunate, the Vibe 28 is ready for it. Smart features like locking zippers, pieces of fabric sewn across the zippers preventing them from being yanked open, a lacking shoulder strap that allows you to lock the bag around an immovable object and an RFID-blocking pouch on the top of the pack are all standard. The pack is a limited edition, and Pacsafe will be donating all proceeds from sales of the pack to the Pacsafe Turtle Fund, an organization dedicated to protecting marine turtles by awarding annual grants to sea turtle conservation projects.
