Price: $TBD
Availability: Fall 2019
Unique Features: Hyper Burst foam, breathable upper, only 8.4-ounces and a 6mm offset

Upshot: In the past few years, Skechers Performance has made many strides forward since the brand signed Meb Keflezighi in 2011. The 2014 Boston Marathon winner and silver medalist has since retired from running (after running 26 marathons), but he continues to work with the brand to help push out high performing sneakers. These Go Run Maxroad 4 Hyper shoes feature Hyper Burst, a responsive cushion underfoot that keeps the shoe at just 8.4-ounces. It boasts durability and plush cushioning for marathoners everywhere.

The Skechers shoes that we’ve tested in house have all been extremely lightweight, yet high performing. It’s why Skechers GoRun Razor 3 Hyper made our list of Best New Running Shoes in 2018.

A multi-zone stretch upper expands where your feet need a bit more room to breathe, while also supporting your every step with enough compression to keep your foot in place. The shoe claims to be breathable with a sock-like fit.

Who It’s For: Whether you need extra support on all runs or something to slide on before your long training days, the lightweight-feel of these running shoes mean that anyone who likes some added cushion can benefit from them.

Insight: We’ve been testing some of the upcoming Skechers sneakers for the past couple months, and we’re continuously impressed by the performance quality of them.
