Key Specs:

Model: Journey Series 10- and 20-L Hydration Packs
Price: $165 (10-Liter), $200 (20-Liter)

Unique Features: Keep water cold for four hours with an insulated reservoir, sleeve and external airflow.
Upshot: You know and trust Hydro Flask to keep your coffee hot in portable mugs and your beer cold thanks to unique growlers. Back in the summer of 2017, Hydro Flask added to its water bottle and cup lines with soft-sided coolers. Now, the brand announces expansion into hydration packs. The 10-liter and 20-liter packs weigh 3- and 3.6-pounds respectively, with plenty of space for all that you typically like to bring on adventures.
Plenty of pockets abound including a special one for your cell phone one, so that’ll never go missing while you’re exploring. The pack is built to be watertight with no risk of water damage inside your bag. The exterior is tough, but the specifically placed padding makes it comfortable to wear.
Who It’s For: Runners, cyclists and hikers will all find new uses for the hydration packs.
Insight: Hydro Flask perfected insulated water bottles, then soft coolers and took those learnings to create a hydration pack that’ll stay cool for hours. Right now, CamelBak, Hydrapak and Osprey rule the roost with their hydration systems. The Journey Series by Hydro Flask could be a serious contender.
