Back in May of this year, I wrote about a Civivi knife called the Buster FG. Not only did this knife have a unique locking mechanism, but it was actually designed by the lock’s inventor, Snecx Tan, lending even more credibility to its execution.
Now, the brand has teamed up with that designer-inventor once more, this time on a much more premium (and therefore unusual) offering: an upscale version of the Civivi Vision FG.

For reference, the Civivi Vision FG isn’t a new knife in and of itself. The brand has released numerous configurations, most of which sit in the $85 to $110 range.
This take shares the same Snecx signature silhouette, size and most of the same quirks — like the trio of holes in the handle scales and the X-acto-like blade shape. However, there are also some major differences, namely in the knife’s materials.
