And here’s where it gets even better: Adding the Versa58 is extremely simple, requires no glue, no additional hardware, no deformation and so on. Instead, it’s built on a reversible snap-on interface engineered for repeat use — meaning you can continue to mod it in the future, should your needs or desires change. In short, it’s practically future-proof.

To call the Versa58’s variety of options “robust” probably doesn’t do them justice. Not only does it allow for a high level of customization, but the possible combinations are legion.

A few of the module examples include a pen, a flashlight, a pocket clip (a great addition to any SAK), a USB drive and many more. The brand also offers different handle scale materials, including aluminum and titanium, which are both upgrades to an SAK’s standard Cellidor (a type of thermoplastic) scales.
