There’s an almost overwhelming temptation in early spring to cast off outerwear wholesale — especially if you live in the kind of climate that requires months of bundling up in winter just to leave the house. But here’s the reality: It’s not going to be warm enough for tank tops and shorts in these regions any time soon. So in the meantime, you’re going to need an adaptable lightweight jacket that looks good and works hard at keeping spring’s chill at bay.
Mr P.‘s new drop of bang-on-trend spring essentials includes a lot of these. There are lightweight suede jackets in dusty pink and deep emerald green; a cotton-linen four-button double-breasted jacket with a notch lapel that shouldn’t work, but does somehow; and a chore jacket (pictured above) that we might not take off until Labor Day. The offering also includes spirited camp shirts, footwear and trousers perfect for the season ahead. But for right now, you’re gonna wanna focus on the jackets. A look at some of our favorites below.
