With every release that Viberg puts out, dribble follows. Using unparalleled construction and materials, it’s no question as to why Viberg is one of our favorite heritage bootmakers. And while the latest drop induced Pavlovian responses expected of the brand, perhaps the best boot of the collection is actually not a boot at all. Instead, they’re a slip-on style known as a mule.
The non-boot shoes are a first for Viberg and they feature a backless design lifted from the equally comfortable slipper, incorporating Goodyear storm welted construction with calf suede uppers, kip leather lining and French binding. It’s a perfectly relaxed shoe appropriate for the warmer seasons in a post-sneaker world (with greater longevity than your average slipper).
