For longtime fans of the Killshot 2, you just had to be there.
Born from a limited collaboration between Nike and J.Crew, the stalwart sneaker — loosely based on a vintage tennis shoe from the 1970s — used to crash websites, spark release-day lines and command absurd markups on sites like StockX.

Most #menswear devotees probably agree: even if Nike never touched the Killshot 2 again, the leather-and-gum-soled silhouette would still stand as one of its most important designs of the 21st century.
The good news is, that’s not the case.
The Killshot 2 joined the brand’s evergreen roster back in 2019, and it’s reliably served as a simple, nondescript sneaker that’s both timeless and accessible.
