The Yamaha RX-V385 is a new, affordable AV receiver that brings the latest in high-end audio and video technologies to your home theater. It’s equipped with YPAO automatic acoustic technology, which analyzes the room’s acoustics and automatically optimizes sound for it. (A bunch of audio companies, like Sonos, have similar technologies.) And it also supports 4K Ultra HD, as well as HDR and Dolby Vision technologies. The idea is the RX-V385 gives entry-level consumers access to equipment that supports all the latest technologies, enabling them to build out a pretty premium home theater system, but still at an affordable price.

The Yamaha RX-V385 AV receiver will be available at the end of April.
