If you’re looking for smart carry-on luggage, Incase just launched a really interesting suitcase: the ProConnected 4 Wheel Hubless Roller ($400). It’s made with a polycarbonate and 600D polyester fabric, so it’s kind of a hybrid between a soft-and-hard suitcase. There’s a spacious main compartment, which unzips wide like a car trunk. And it has an integrated-yet-removable 20,100 mAh power bank — you can easily take the power bank out of the suitcase to charge it, no screws or tools required.
From the exterior, there are several accessible ports, USB-A and USB-C (with Power Delivery), so you can easily charge all your devices, laptop included, without being tethered to a crowded airport power outlet. And maybe its most interesting feature is its removable wheels, which anybody who’s been denied space in an overhead compartment (thanks to their roller’s damn wheels) can appreciate. As far as smarts, you can do things like check the location of the suitcase, as well as its battery life, through the Incase Smart app.
