Cambridge Audio is still very much known for its hi-fi audio components; most recently, it released its new flagship series, which the company is calling the “pinnacle of hi-fi.” But in recent years the British audio giant has been diving deeper into wireless speakers and home theater components, like its first-ever 4K UHD Blu-ray player. The Yoyo (L) falls in line with those.
The Yoyo (L) is a wireless speaker with built-in Chromecast, Spotify Connect and Bluetooth, but, more interestingly, it also has ARC and optical inputs, so you can plug it into your TV and use it as a soundbar. Out of the box, it won’t give you the complete control over your TV that you’d get with a Sonos Beam and a Fire TV, but you’ll still be able to say “Hey Google” to adjust the TV’s volume. If you’re looking for a versatile speaker that can also improve your TV’s audio, this is a good home audio hub to consider.
It’s available in dark grey or light grey.
