This Beast of a Portable Power Bank Has Everything a World Traveler Needs

It comes with all the necessary charging cables, too, which is very rare.

Goal Zero’s new Sherpa 100AC is one diesel portable power bank. It weighs two pounds and has a 25,600mAh capacity, meaning it has enough juice to recharge a smartphone 8 times, a tablet 4 times or a laptop twice over. It supports USB-C PD, too, so you can recharge the Sherpa 100AC back to full health in less than three hours.

The company says that the power bank is designed for world travelers or even businessman working on-the-go. It has a large variety of ports, including two 60-watt USB-C ports, two USB-A (2.4 amps) and a built-in AC inverter. And it also features Qi-wireless charging, so if you have an iPhone X or one of Samsung’s latest smartphones, you can just place it on top of the Sherpa 100AC to charge.

Additionally, the Sherpa 100AC has an OLED screen to show you things like battery life and how each port is being used. It comes with a variety of ruggedized cables, too, including Lightning cables, micro USB, USB-C and USB-C to USB-C — I’m not aware of any other company that includes the necessary charging cables with the purchase of their power bank.

The all-new Sherpa 100AC will be available in September 2018 and will cost $300.
