Ikea Just Dropped a Ridiculously Affordable Take on One of Apple’s Most Ubiquitous Gadgets

At just $4, the Swedish furniture giant is basically giving them away.

At the end of 2025, Ikea quietly introduced its “Västmärke” series of Qi2.0 wireless chargers. There are three different models — a $25 charging stand, a $10 charging puck and a $25 charging tray — all with built-in magnets (thus, they’re MagSafe compatible) and maxing out at 15 watts.

And now, it’s introducing a 20-watt USB-C power adapter that’s the perfect partner for them (as well as a wide range of other gadgets, including your iPhone).

The best part? It costs just $4.

The Ikea Sjöss 20W is a pretty standard 20-watt USB-C power adapter with Power Delivery (PD). It’s designed to fast-charge smaller devices with a USB-C port, including smartphones, tablets, headphones and other smaller gadgets.

Ikea sells several different power adapters in its “Sjöss” series, headlined by a 65-watt Sjöss charger that was just recently released in October. But the Sjöss 20W is the least powerful, most affordable.

The headline feature of the Sjöss 20W is obviously its price — it costs just $4.

This is significantly more affordable than pretty much every other 20-watt USB-C adapter out there. For example, Apple sells one for $19. Anker sells one for $12. And Belkin sells one for $11. They all do the exact same thing.

The only real downside of Ikea’s latest option is that its prongs don’t fold, so its design isn’t quite as travel-friendly.

Price and availability

The Ikea Sjöss 20W is available now from Ikea’s website. It costs $4 and comes in one color: white.
